Heavy Rigid Driver Training

Heavy Rigid Truck Licence
WestAus Driver Training provides HR training and assessment in synchromesh and road ranger gearboxes with an automatic option coming very soon.
We offer a range of training options in each gearbox to help you reach your goals and obtain your desired licence. In our expert experience and generally speaking, most people training in a HR vehicle require approximately 10 – 16 hours.

Course Options

One Day Course Options –
Prior HR training/experience is absolutely essential for the one day course option.
Total of 8 hours including theory component and practical training (7 Hours) and DoT assessment (1 Hour).

Two Day Course Options –
Total of 10 hours including theory component and practical training (9 Hours) and DoT assessment (1 Hour).

The HR Three Day Course –
– Total of 15 hours including theory component and practical training (14 Hours) and DoT assessment (1 Hour).

Lessons/Additional Training Options –
We book HR lessons and additional training in 2 hour blocks.

All assessments are conducted by our own authorised DoT assessors using DoT supplied audio, video and GPS tracked cameras.

 

Heavy Combination Driver Training

Heavy Combination Truck Licence

WestAus Driver Training’s Heavy Combination course consist of you learning how to conduct comprehensive pre-trip and mid-trip inspections, reversing a prime mover and 2 trailer combination, safe uncoupling and coupling procedures, legal requirements and to drive a multi combination vehicle in a safe efficient manner within the road system.

WestAus Driver Training provides HC training and assessment in automatic and road ranger gearboxes. We offer a range of training options in each gearbox to help you reach your goals and obtain your desired licence. In our expert experience and generally speaking, most people training in a HC vehicle require approximately 12 – 20 hours.

Course Options

One Day Course –
Prior HC training/experience is absolutely essential for the one day course option.
Total of 10 hours including theory component and practical training (7 Hours) and DoT assessment (3 Hours).

Two Day Course –
Total of 13 hours including theory component and practical training (10 Hours) and DoT assessment (3 Hours).

Three Day Course –
Total of 20 hours including theory component and practical training (17 Hours) and DoT assessment (3 Hours).

Lessons/Additional Training Options –
We book HC lessons and additional training in 3 hour blocks.

Multi Combination Driver Training

Multi Combination Truck Licence

The Multi Combination or MC truck licence is the pinnacle qualification for the Western Australian transport industry. WestAus Driver Training’s Multi Combination course consist of you learning how to conduct comprehensive pre-trip and mid-trip inspections, reversing a prime mover and 2 trailer combination, safe uncoupling and coupling procedures, legal requirements and to drive a multi combination vehicle in a safe efficient manner within the road system.
